CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers indicate that something serious is brewing between Bill Abbott (Jason Thompson) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan). They are having strong feelings but have not admitted that to one another.

Chelsea has gone through some very difficult challenges with her mental health. Bill literally saved her life and has been there to support and encourage her through her recovery. They communicate well and share their thoughts and ideas together. This strong connection is natural because of what they have each gone through.
Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has pointed that out to Billy. She thinks that Chelsea is in a vulnerable state and still needs just good friends to get her through and no romantic entanglements. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) encourages Chelsea that way too, noting that both Chelsea and Billy have been through some tough things and need to heal before they start into some kind of serious relationship.
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), who is Conner’s father with Chelsea, really doesn’t think that Billy is a stable enough person to have a relationship with and feels concerned for Chelsea.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers: Other Feelings
While Billy and Chelsea both hear this from their friends and family, they both recognize that they are having strong feelings for one another. They enjoy one another’s company but there is a deep connection that they are both feeling.
While they have this, they have not it voiced it aloud to one another yet. They are cautious and while they have communicated about a lot, they haven’t shared what they feel yet. Maybe because of their past relationship, they are reticent to express this fully. Maybe they feel that if they do, the feelings that they are feeling may change.
