CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) and Summer Newman (Hunter King) have been committed to bringing Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) down. After Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) got news of the feud, he finally decided to settle the bickering once and for all. Jack demanded the men both deliver a pitch to him for a Jabot strategy – and the best pitch won. Theo tried his best to win but got his hands dirty. It looks like his plan had backfired.
Theo had asked Kyle’s assistant, Kendra (Marie Oldenbourg) to let him know what Kyle was planning to pitch to Jack. However, Jack and Summer had a feeling that Theo would be up to no good. They plotted against him by falsifying information on the laptop and leaving it open for Kendra to access. Theo got his hands on it and prepped it for their big pitch meeting at Jabot. The day started great for Kyle and Summer. The two had sex in their suite, and Kyle felt confident going into the meeting.

However, Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson) felt even more confident – he thought that he had the entire thing in the bag. In fact, Jack thought Theo had it in the bag as well. Theo volunteers to go first. He gets up and begins his pitch titled “Back 2 Basics”. Kyle and Summer look at each other and smirk. Their plant worked, and Theo took the bait.

Jack seems to be the most confused. He informs Theo that it was HIS pitch from fifteen years ago. Theo rebuttals saying that Kyle and Summer set him up – and the whole truth comes out. Theo was using Kendra as his mole, so Kyle and Summer planted Jack’s pitch on the server. Theo begins to beg for a second chance. However, Kyle fires him, and Jack stands behind the decision.
After Theo leaves the office, Kyle presents his pitch to Jack, who is pleased with the outcome. Summer and Kyle toast. When Theo arrives back at the Abbott residence, Theo expresses the disappointment he feels at himself to Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams). Not only did he lose his job, but he may have lost his family – for good.
