CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that though times have been tough for Traci Abbott in Genoa City lately, Beth Maitland has a lot to celebrate about! Unfortunately, filming has been on a hiatus for the past several weeks due to COVID-19, and e haven’t seen any new shots of Beth on daytime television; however, hopefully, that means she had ample opportunity to celebrate her birthday with friends and family alike!
Beth Maitland was born on May 12, 1958, which makes this birthday her 62nd. She was born in Rapid City, South Dakota, before she eventually moved to Scottsdale, Arizona. Her career as an actress began at a young age. Beth was a natural in front of the camera. At only 13, Beth starred in numerous plays before enrolling and graduating from Arizona State University. This pushed her to move to the big city of Los Angeles – which would ensue a busy but rewarding lifestyle.

Beth began to make guest appearances on top TV shows such as Criminal Minds before producers at CBS discovered her. Her role on ‘Young and the Restless’ first began in 1982, and she remained on a contract until 1993. From then, Beth would frequently return for guest appearances, and she became a familiar face for fans and viewers. Through her unique talent and dedicated passion for acting, Beth has brilliantly built Traci’s storyline from the ground up. Over the past several decades, Beth has transformed Traci from and idea into a full-on Genoa City veteran that has earned her stake in Genoa City.
