CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that the Newman family all look down upon Adam Newman (Mark Grossman), and while that’s understandable, that’s a bit like the pot calling the kettle black, isn’t it? Not one member of the Newman family is as clean as the driven snow, except maybe Faith Newman (Alyvia Alyn Lind), but she’s still a child. Sure, Adam has done some messed up things, but Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) hasn’t? He’s probably the biggest opponent to his brother and he’s not better!
What about Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle)? She’s better? She’s a spoiled, bratty child of a business tycoon. The fourth child, Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) doesn’t seem to have a dog in the fight as much as Nick or Victoria, though she’s no poster child for morality either!

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: When Will The Newman’s Realize They’re No Better Than Adam? If Ever
Let’s not even get started on Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott)! How many bodies do they have combined? A lot of skeletons in their closet and while Victor does love his son, Nikki is as nasty as can be to him. As someone who is relatively new to ‘The Young and the Restless’, I was conditioned to hate Adam from the beginning.
However, the more I watch him, the more I feel like maybe he just needs to catch a break. The Newman’s have their own little “clan” and anyone outside of it gets destroyed. Including Adam. Doesn’t Adam deserve to be a Newman with all the skeletons in his closet? It seems like he would fit right in! Yet, they continue to reject him. What do you think?
