CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers indicate that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is about to get the shock of her life. That’s because she will meet with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) to share the results of her DNA test that proves whether or not she is related to Devon’s late wife Hilary Curtis (also played by Mishael Morgan). Here’s what you need to know.
‘Young and the Restless’ spoilers say that although Amanda’s face is blank, Devon knows what is on her mind. Bryton James, who plays the handsome Genoa City resident on the hit CBS soap, puts it this way to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “There are always the nerves of not knowing for sure but Devon is ready to hear what the news will be.”

Amanda reveals that yes, she and Hilary were twin sisters. Of course, Devon is left in a state of shock. Bryton adds, “Even though he was expecting this, he’s really hit with the reality of what comes with that truth now. This is going to open up a lot of questions that Amanda would want to know and there’s no one closer to Hilary than Devon, so he realizes that moving forward, he has to provide answers.”
If that weren’t enough, Amanda is dealing with a lot, too. Bryton points out, “Her feelings are all over the place and rightfully so. Devon knows what it’s like not to know your place in the world, and now she has been given a piece of her history. It’s a lot for her to take in.”
