CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’  (Y&R) spoilers show that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) received a call from Alyssa Montalvo (Maria DiDomenico) today. She had some news regarding their investigation into Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She did her usual journalist routine and began interviewing people. Alyssa came across a coroner, the same one who took care of the A.J. Montalvo death. Even after so many years, she said he sounded a bit jittery hearing the name.

This sounds great to Adam! Their first real lead. He explains to do whatever she needs to get him to give the information. Adam wants to pay him off. If he was paid off by Victor so many years ago, he can be bought off again. Alyssa is immediately contradictory to the suggestion and explains that’s a big negative. Adam tells her that this is personal, to both of them, they need to do what they have to for the information.

Adam seems to be on a roll now and is planning as he talks to Alyssa. However, he completely overshadows the idea that maybe Victor did this for the good of his own life. Alyssa is the first one to suggest this idea as she explains that her father murdered Cliff Wilson for a debt, whereas Victor probably killed her father to keep Adam and Hope safe. Will this resonate with Adam and how will he continue moving forward?

Assuming they do keep going forward with this, and Alyssa finds more evidence, how will this affect their relationship? They were childhood best friends and it’s been many years but even since rekindling their friendship at the farm in Kansas, they seem to pick up right where they left off. If Victor did kill her father, how will she feel about being friends with Adam? What do you think? Is Victor guilty of killing her father? Was it for the wellbeing of Adam? Let us know in the comments below.
