CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers reveal that today at Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) 50th Anniversary bash, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) had some things to say. Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) started things off, before handing the microphone to her brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow). Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) we thought would be the last child of Victor’s to speak until Adam jumped in.

Adam literally jumped for the microphone before he asked if he could cut in. He acknowledges that he and his father haven’t always seen eye to eye. However, there was an invisible bond between them that allowed them to always find their way back to eachother. Adam truly feels they’ve reached a turning point and wants to get to know his father and siblings better. Victor says, “That’d be nice.” Afterward, Adam walks over and they hug! What!

CBS ‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Adam & Victor Embrace – Power Move Or Sincerity?

We have to throw our hands up and ask what’s going on. Is Adam making a move to get closer to Victor and the company in a chance to undermine Victoria? Did Adam’s experience in Las Vegas with Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) give him a new lease on life? What is going on in Adam’s head? We must know! Surely, Adam is just pulling a fast one on us, right?

Toward the end of the party, Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam are standing together talking. Chelsea tells him it was really nice what he said about Victor. Adam tells her he meant it. He really thinks he and Victor have turned things around. This isn’t real, is it? Did we just witness Adam have a change of heart, or is there a sinister deed behind his false emotions. What do you think? Is Adam up to something or will we see a more sensitive Adam from now on? Let us know in the comments below.
