CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers tease that by now we all know that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the kind of person who always gets what he wants, and when he doesn’t get it, he will most likely burn the entire city down. And even though the CEO position of Newman Enterprises was given to his brother Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) rather than him, Adam believes that he’s now in the driver’s seat, seeing how he has some incriminating evidence against his father, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). During his road trip to Kansas with his partner Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan), Adam reconnected with an old friend named Alyssa. While Alyssa is most definitely a friend who has always had Adam’s back, she also proved to be a vital asset in his life right now. That’s because Alyssa’s research proved that Victor Newman was behind her father’s murder. Armed with this information, Adam will do whatever it takes to blackmail his father to ensure that he will get what he wants.

The Young and the Restless executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith offers this to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, “Adam enjoys a good game of cat and mouse, especially when it’s with another Newman. He’s convinced that he has leverage over Victor and will attempt to broker a deal that will forever change the dynamics of their relationship. Time will tell just how serious Victor will take Adam’s threats.”

With that said, if there’s anything that we have learned about The Moustache over the years, it’s that he’s undeterred. Nothing scares him. Adam might think that he’s in control, but he’s also facing perhaps one of the most dangerous and devious men in all of Genoa City.
