Looks like we’re switching gears away from the Newman family drama for the moment, and CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers are set for some interesting storyline twists coming up.
It makes sense given the drama was ramped up some and we can’t forget there are other denizens of Genoa City to be tortured, er, have interesting lives.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 15: Commiserating over Mariah
Since Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) went missing, more and more friends and family of hers are getting worried about her.
So, it’s only natural ‘Young and the Restless’ spend some time with the two people that have the most invested in her at the moment as they deal with the emotion and tension caused by her disappearance.
We think Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) will really be losing her mind as her other half is missing and she’s going to be desperate for any word on Mariah’s whereabouts and health.
Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) will be just as stressed, if not more so, given Mariah’s carrying the dream child she can’t have.
Once again, the pressure of producing a family will press down onto her and she’ll feel as worthless as possible.
Thankfully, they’ll have each other, but we expect this to be a scene based more on Abby than not.
CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers For July 15: Playing nice
This is going to be one of those disturbing scenes as the last two people we expect to play nice with each other are Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) and Tara Locke (Elizabeth Leiner).
It may not seem like much, but we’re pretty sure Phyllis knows or has a feeling that Tara played a role in her daughter’s change of scenery, and Phyllis will go fishing for what she needs.
In this case, playing nice and being polite to Tara will go a lot further than insulting her and chasing her out of the Grand Phoenix.
We have a feeling Tara will be playing as coy as possible since she knows Phyllis is a threat, but we have a feeling she’ll slip up someway to add more umph to her downfall when Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) shares what he knows.
