CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoiler for Monday, March 2nd is bringing an interesting plot twist to everyone’s favourite same-sex (not-so) couple, Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks). Or is that Mariah and Lindsay Bushman (Kirby Bliss Blanton)?
Mariah has been experiencing some trouble in paradise with sort-of-girlfriend, Tessa. There seems to be some recently mixed signals between the two, which results in Mariah opening up to her closest girlfriends about the troublesome pairing.

It’s clear that Mariah isn’t feeling overly confident in the relationship, and it’s starting to pose some concerns for her. As always, in Genoa City when love isn’t going right, Y&R fans can expect one thing, and one thing only: an affair. Usually followed by a substantial amount of drama. To spark everyone’s memory, Lindsay is one of Mariah’s old friends. The two ran into each other at Society. During the troublesome romance, Lindsay has supported Mariah in not tying herself down to Tessa, who seems indifferent to the relationship. On Monday, it looks like ‘Young and the Restless’ fans will finally find out why Lindsay has been such a big freedom supporter – and it might be for reasons that we didn’t expect.

After Mariah opens up to Lindsay again about her relationship with Tessa, it’s clear that Mariah is pretty emotional about the whole thing. Being the friend that Lindsay is, she offers to go home with Mariah so she doesn’t have to be alone. One thing leads to another and tears lead to passionate kissing! A surprise rendezvous between Lindsay and Mariah. Before we know it, the two are making out and stripping each other down. In the next scene, Mariah and Lindsay are on the sofa when Tessa enters the room. She seems to catch on quickly to what had happened, and questions the pair: “What’s going on here?” There is definitely trouble in paradise between Mariah and Tessa now, however what does this mean for Mariah and Lindsay? Has this complicated their friendship? It looks like the first week of March will be a heated one for Y&R!
