CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) finally dropped the bomb that Y&R fans were waiting for: Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is responsible for AJ Montalvo’s murder. Though Adam has spent several weeks digging into the decades-old death and framing his father in an attempt to get control of Newman Enterprises, the situation finally came to a head with the truth. Though Adam has no recollection of the events (he blocked it out of his memory due to the trauma), it looks like the news will rock Genoa City to the core. However, the entire situation has taken a toll on the Newman family.
Now that Adam has control of Newman Enterprises, Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) is out of her CEO seat, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) was out of a temporary position, and Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) is caught in the crossfire between her husband and children. Over the past several decades, Nikki has been caught in between a rock and a hard place with her husband. Her love for Victor has been unwavering, despite the many compromising situations he has gotten her in. Now, with Adam, she is stuck with her angry children and Adam threatening to tear apart their family.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Recap: Tensions Rise As Victor and Nikki Fight Over Adam
Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) tells Nikki that Adam can’t recall the events and that he is blaming Victor for lying about the entire situation. Victor believes that Nikki is to blame for this, as Nikki told Victoria the truth despite Victor asking her not to. Out of spite, Victoria planted a seed with Adam before Victor could tell him the truth. Nikki has had enough of Adam attacking the Newman family – she doesn’t know when his outbursts will end. Nikki reminds her husband that Adam is no longer a helpless child. She says that he is a predator – a strong statement for Nikki to make about her husband’s son. The longstanding couple has had their fair share of ups and downs, will this situation with Adam break them? This has put a lot of stress and pressure on their relationship, and it looks like there is no end in sight. What do you think will end up happening with the Newman family drama?
