CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers finds that Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) made a statement when she entered Genoa City. Known as being Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) deceased wife’s doppelgänger, she definitely made waves during her arrival. Since her debut on the daytime drama, Amanda began a romantic relationship with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and was known for her powerful role as the city’s attorney in charge of Chance Chancellor’s (John Driscoll) fate. After Ripley Turner mistakenly attacked Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), thinking it was Amanda, the Genoa City newcomer was in for a rocky road. However, in recent weeks, it looks like things are looking up for Amanda.

CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ Recap: New Things On The Horizon For Amanda – Her And Nate!
Shortly after Victoria’s stabbing, Amanda ended her relationship with Billy. She felt guilty for being the reason that Victoria was fighting for her life, and Ripley Turner (Christian Keyes), her psychotic ex-fiancé, was still on the loose. Amanda had more substantial issues than her relationship with Billy. Genoa City had been rough to Amanda; however, it looks like things may be looking up for the intelligent lawyer. Amanda recently went on a romantic date with the dreamy doctor, Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic). Unfortunately, Billy walked in on the date; however, he no longer has a say on her love life.
During their date, Amanda opened up to Nate about her childhood and her adoption. Nate shared stories about his parents. The two seal, the date with a passionate kiss, which they both agree, was nice. Fast forward only a few days, and Amanda advises Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) on a business-related contract. Lily offers Amanda a job as the attorney for Chancellor Estate, even though Devon currently has an outstanding job offer on the table for Amanda.
Amanda suggests that Lily discusses the job offer with Billy before they decide anything. Y&R fans have learned bits about Amanda’s complicated life and childhood. We are thrilled to see her experience is looking up in Genoa City! With two job offers and love interest on the table, it looks like Summer 2020 might be one for the books!
