CBS ‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) comings and goings indicate that Eileen Davidson will soon be back in Genoa City. In fact, new reports say Eileen, who is best known for her role as Ashley Abbott on the hit show, is expected back as early as the Friday, August, 14th episode.
Soaps.com made the announcement, however the producers of ‘Young and the Restless’ have not made any comments as to how long fans can expect to see Eileen on the show. While Eileen herself hasn’t said much about her daytime television work these days, she has opened up about the similarities that she shares with her fellow The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star and soap actress, Denise Richards (Shauna Fulton, ‘Bold and the Beautiful’). In fact, these two Beverly Hills beauties have much more in common than what people realize.

According to Bravo TV, Eileen says that she and Denise actually first met while they were working on their respective CBS soaps. “I met Denise at CBS last year, interestingly enough,” Eileen explained. “It was very, very funny. We were in the commissary, and I saw her, and I went, ‘Oh my god, Denise, hi!’ And it was so funny, because first of all, she’s working at CBS, on a soap opera, she lives in Malibu, and we were at the commissary, and I kid you not, we both had on overalls, a tank top, flip flops, and our hair in a ponytail. I was cracking up. I go, ‘Oh my god. This is so funny.’”
