CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers say that fans might soon find out the truth about Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) and Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and what might be in their future, for better or for worse.
There’s a chance that Liam might be doing the right thing because he’s concerned about their daughter Kelly or he might be doing the right thing because he knows Steffy needs him right now – and Liam needs her. Here’s what you need to know.
CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Will Liam Take Kelly Away From Steffy?
In a new interview with TV Insider, actor Scott Clifton opened up about why his character Liam Spencer feels the need to watch out for Steffy the most right now. Even though she’s got her family, she’s got a new love interest, and she’s got her father, it’s Liam who keeps running to be by her side.
Scott puts it this way to the site, “Liam is being Liam. We all know he has some sort of waffling protective instinct even when Liam is not romantically involved with someone. He fancies himself a protector. It’s not always the healthiest attitude but he has this complex.”
He added, “As he told Thomas, Liam knows how powerful painkillers can be, having watched his mother [be on them] when she was dying of Stage 4 breast cancer. Liam grew more alarmed as time went on.”
But here’s what everyone can’t help but wonder: is Liam running to Steffy because he’s concerned for Kelly and wants to keep their daughter safe, or is he running to Steffy because he might still be in love with his ex? Scott offers, “I think the audience is supposed to wonder if that’s any part of it. I’m not playing that…yet. Interpret ‘yet’ any way you want.”
