It’s easy and fun to blame Thomas Forrester (Mathew Atkinson) for anything bad that happens to our favorites. He’s usually there at the right time, and tends to come up with the perfect plan to cause the maximum carnage. To his benefit, of course.

So, this brings up to today’s question. Who is really behind Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Liam Spencer’s (Scott Clifton) kiss? As mentioned above, Thomas is far from innocent as he concocted the plan/trap for everyone to fall into, but is he really that good? We give him all the blame, but he’s more of a wannabe evil genius that hasn’t figured out his training wheels are still on. So, if we put him in the time out corner, who could it be?

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: The principles
Here’s where we at CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers put on our deerstalker hat, grab a pipe, and do the worst Sherlock Holmes impression in history. Our first two suspects can be lumped together because, well, they usually are lumped together. Steffy is anything but a pushover, and the idea that she’d allow a weasel like Thomas to have the power over her that convincing her to kiss Liam is just… it doesn’t work. He could plant the idea, but to more than that is stretching it. Basically, Steffy wanted the kiss and probably would’ve kissed Liam at some point anyway. Thomas just offered her the best chance to do so.
The same goes for Liam. As flaky as he seems, he’s totally smitten with Steffy and will be until they day on or both of them die. She’s the one, plain and simple. He could’ve pushed Steffy off and put a stop to everything, but he chose not to. He embraced having her back in his… embrace. And he’s cemented that feeling by kissing her unbidden recently. And we can’t forget about poor, sweet, not-so-innocent Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). She played the biggest role by refusing to admit her decisions have put a wedge between her and Liam, effectively giving him every excuse to set the stage by pushing him away until finally an opportunity presented itself.

This is where the really cool sound effects would come into play, but we all heard them on our own, right?Alrighty, without further ado, we pronounce the real culprit responsible for the kiss is… All of them. Yep. All four had a motive, opportunity, and committed an act that led to the currently infamous kiss. Of course, the only one feeling guilty is Steffy, but that’’ll fade as she settles into Liam’s arms. All that’s left is for Thomas to sweep in, claim victory, and carry Hope away while twisting his moustache. Remember, no crime goes undetected, unreported, or un fantasized when CBS The Bold and the Beautiful Spoilers are on the scene.
