CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that Eric Forrester (John McCook) will find it in his heart to forgive his wife, Quinn Forrester (Rena Sofer) even though her latest shenanigans almost tore Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) apart for good. And while there are plenty of reasons as to why Quinn should be kicked to the curb already, actor John McCook explains that there are plenty of qualities about Quinn that makes her so attractive and desirable to Eric. Here’s what he has to say.
Speaking to TV Insider in a new interview, the talented actor said that he credits actress Rena Sofer for bringing such a wide spectrum of capability when it comes to portraying someone like Quinn Forrester and all of her feistiness! Eric puts it this way, “She can bring that softness and romance to what she feels towards Eric. At the same time, she can be this terrible manipulator. Eric loves this girl. She’s wonderful. There’s a need to nurture these feelings in her and in him. Is Eric going to defend Brooke to Quinn? Yes. Laurette always says Eric should defend his wife! It would make Eric weak to allow Brooke to say these bad things about his wife. I have to be aware that Eric standing by his wife is a gesture of commitment and love, but he can still confront her.”

What’s more, the actor also opened up about staying at home because of the coronavirus quarantine. Eric along with his ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ co-stars all did a shout out video back in March, acknowledging that the shelter-at-home orders have been hard on them just as much as they have been hard on their millions of soap fans from all over the world. However, he says that if there’s one thing that is keeping him going, it’s keeping busy with your day-to-day life.

Eric added, “Frankly, I’ve been watching Sam Neill (Jurassic Park). He’s been doing these types of videos. I’ve been following him. Almost every day, he talks or cooks or goes on a walk with his pig. He’s not singing or dancing. He’s just talking about this or that. I was impressed. That’s the attitude. Now, everyone’s doing one where they are singing or dancing. I think that’s cool, too. I’m overdue for another one. I thought it was really good that Sam is doing this.”
