CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers say that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is no longer the free-spirited, positive and head-strong person that she once was. Okay, she might still be head strong but that’s because she’s been forced into survival mode. But the Sally that we once knew is no longer here, so says her portrayer. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, actress Courtney Hope, who plays Sally on the hit CBS soap, admits that she’s been wanting a storyline like his for a very long time. That’s because she finally has the opportunity to show viewers a different side to Sally.

Courtney told the publication, “I’ve been wanting this for a really long time. It’s my wheelhouse. I said this to a lot of family members, that I was happy that people got to see that side of me – the fun, the quirky, the humor. It was like, ‘Okay, now I’d like the pendulum to swing back the other way and showcase the depth that I have given to Sally.’ For a long time, it seemed Sally was happy-go-lucky and quirky – and she is all of those things – but she is human and she has depth, and as an actor it has been nice to sink my teeth into something that I have been wanting for a long time. I want to do justice to Sally. She deserves that.”

With that said, there’s a very good possibility that we might see a huge change in Sally in the coming months. That is, if she survives this deadly yet indescribable disease that she might have.
