CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers indicate that Delon De Metz is joining the show as the newest face on the hit CBS soap. Delon has been recast as the new Zende Forrester Dominguez on the highly-rated soap. As many fans recall, the character is the adopted son of Kristen Forrester and was last portrayed by actor Rome Flynn, who left the show in 2017 to pursue other opportunities in the entertainment industry. In a new interview with Soap Opera Digest, the actor says that joining ‘Bold and the Beautiful’ is new territory for him, seeing how he’s only been on primetime for now. However, he feels super lucky because his mother is not only a huge fan of the show but also his biggest supporter, too.

“I am not as literate in the soap world as I could be, and I am definitely doing my homework now, getting up to speed on the character,” he shared with the publication. “But my mom watched the show for maybe 20 years. When I told her, she completely freaked out so we definitely have B&B in the family.”
Delon sure wasn’t kidding when he said that his mother has been his biggest help with his role so far. “Because my mom is a fan of the show, she is first and foremost my research go-to for this,” he notes. “I’m going to have to get familiar with what Zende has been through, and everything that’s been created to do the character justice, but of course, I do want to put my own spin on it.
Hopefully you’ll see my own colors come out, but I do think it’s important to do right by the show and by the character and let all of the past experiences inform the performance.”
