CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers finds that favorite fairy tales involves a final shot by true love at the eleventh hour. In this case, Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) decides that Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) is looking tired and needs a break bad.
So, she “kidnaps” him the day before he’s supposed to marry Hope Logan (Annika Noelle). Speaking of final shots, this may be the final week of throwbacks as we’re getting new episodes of B&B on Monday, July 20, so this is going to be a fun yet sad week.
We’ve enjoyed going back to see some awesome performances over the years, and while those episodes may have left many of the new ones wanting in various areas, it also gave us a glimpse into a changing of the guard, and how time doesn’t stand still for anyone.
It’s important to remember the past and enjoy the memories, which is one of the reasons CBS “The Bold and the Beautiful” has brought up numerous times how we need a another network that’ll show the older episodes for all the shows. The original SOAPnet may have failed but this whole pandemic has shown us that the classics are still in demand. At least, we have the network websites that have some to watch.

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers Throwback For July 14: New Episodes Coming; Steffy Steals Liam
With all of that being said, this treasure comes to us from August 12, 2012 and features a really cool and dramatic storyline as Steffy kidnaps Liam to give him a break, Hope had spent the day with Pamela Douglas (Alley Mills) and Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) getting things ready.
Hope returned to the Forrester mansion to thank Stephanie for her efforts, but she became concerned when Stephanie had a coughing fit and then struggled to breathe. Knowing Stephanie was battling lung cancer, Hope chose to cancel the pre-wedding dinner without giving Liam a reason.
On his end, Liam had spent a fun day with Steffy and had gently rebuffed her efforts to get him to not marry Hope, but when he learned about the dinner being canceled without a reason, he thought Steffy might be right. So, instead of returning to see Hope and help her/find out what’s happening, she returned and danced with Steffy into the night.
This was just another in Liam’s long line of mistakes Liam has made with women in his life, and yet he’s always forgiven and gets the girl in the end. Guys everywhere are jealous of that, but it’s one of the perks of being a fun character. We can hate or love Liam or any other as much as we want. It’s a testament to him and the others for making their characters so entertaining. Will Liam ever truly settle down?
