CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) Spoilers reveal that while Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) seems overly anxious and self-reproaching about Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Samiri) guardian choice. But does she have true cause for alarm?  Can she trust Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood)?

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Douglas Makes His Choice

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) thought it would be a good idea to give Douglas the opportunity to make a choice about who he wants his legal guardian to be. Hope went along with it because she was certain that Douglas would choose to live with her and Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton).

They had a talk with Douglas before the hearing and he said that he really wanted to stay with them. At the hearing he shocks everyone by choosing his Aunt Steffy. He wants to live with her and Finn. Steffy is torn. She doesn’t want to change the dynamics of her family, but she also doesn’t want to reject Douglas.

CBS ‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Will Steffy Follow Through?

Steffy does not feel that she can reject Douglas. She tries to get her husband John ‘Finn’ Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) to see this. It is hard for him to accept making a decision like this for their family when Douglas has two caring parents who want to be his guardians. He feels that they should only accept Douglas if there is some emergency situation requiring it.

Steffy’s thought is that Douglas will come stay but then he will get tired of it and will want to go “home” to Liam and Hope. He will see it as a fun vacation and then the excitement will wear off. She says at this point they will have to go back to court and then he can go back home.

Is this realistic though? And this is making a big assumption that Douglas will treat it as a vacation and not his home.  Hope doesn’t want to lose her son for one moment. He has always been a part of their lives and she does not want him to be raised in another home.

What are your thoughts? Do you think it is wise to follow through with what Douglas is asking or should they try to convince him to change his mind? Do you think he will only want to stay with Steffy and Finn temporarily? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
