‘The Bold And The Beautiful’ (B&B) spoilers show that although there has been a lot of drama, it’s possible that we’ve forgotten about the custody dispute between Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). Thomas is prepared to welcome Douglas back into his house and take on the role of a full-time father. But in addition to all of the other mental health challenges he has faced recently, this is the same father who recently made a false CPS call regarding his own child.
But he won’t give up so easy in this fight. It’s honestly a little mind-boggling that Thomas believes he can truly win custody of Douglas. I’m aware that some supporters believe Douglas should live with his father, but can you really, honestly say that? Thomas is an insane nutcase. It’s just a fact. Thomas is too far gone, a child shouldn’t live there full-time, and Douglas is better off staying with Hope. He hasn’t had a mental breakdown in a few months.

Regardless of what we may believe, Douglas will ultimately have some influence over this choice. Judges and social workers will undoubtedly question him, and there’s a risk he might decide to abandon Hope.
He loves Hope, yes, but he also loves his father and is presumably unaware of or uninformed of Thomas’ actions over the past five years, so why wouldn’t he stand up for his father? I’m not sure Douglas has many reasons to not want to be with his father aside from the CPS call.
Although it would come as a tremendous shock if Douglas abandoned Hope and decided to live with his father full-time, it is not completely impossible. Of course, Thomas would most likely receive a real CPS call if it truly occurred. In such house, something is bound to happen.
