Candace Cameron Bure Ends Her Social Media Feud With JoJo Siwa As Star Apologises
Things between the pair started to get heated when JoJo decided to share a video on TikTok in which she described how she felt towards certain celebrities. And as part of this process, she categorised one person as the ‘rudest celebrity.’
This ended up being Candace, as the pair had reportedly crossed each other’s paths during the premiere of Candace’s sitcom, ‘The Fuller House.’ In response to this video, Candace shared a Bible verse which appeared to be hinting that she was unfazed by what JoJo had to say.
But now it seems that things have been put behind them. In a post to her fans on Instagram, Candace stated that she has fixed things with JoJo. She said: “Even a 10-second trending TikTok video can do damage because our words matter and our actions matter.”
This begs the question: what was the falling out over? Well, it turned out that Candace rejected JoJo’s request to have a photo taken with her. And given that JoJo was just 12 at the time, coupled with the fact that Candace proceeded to have pictures with somebody else after having rejected JoJo, things did not look very good.
While there are a variety of reasons as to why a photo may not have taken place, it appears that this left a negative impression on JoJo. Not only that, but it seems that this also impacted JoJo’s mother. And given that Candace is a mother herself, she understood that she may have hurt JoJo’s feelings.
The fans on social media were delighted to see the pair put behind any bad blood. And in the process of doing so, they praised Candace for apologising. One person wrote: “You are a beautiful display of kindness and grace. Grateful for you!”
