Is it really necessary to call names? Apparently, a lot of critics are calling California Governor hopeful Caitlyn Jenner too “lazy” and “dumb” for not voting in the 2020 election, even though state records say that she did vote last year. In an interview with CNN, Caitlyn explained why she didn’t vote during the Presidential Election. Here’s what she has to say.
“I didn’t even vote,” she told CNN’s Dana Bash. “Out here in California, it’s like, why vote for a Republican president? It’s just not going to work. I mean, it’s overwhelming.”

“It was voting day and I thought the only thing out here in California that I worry about, which affects people, is the propositions that were out there,” she said.
“And I didn’t see any propositions that I really had one side or the other. And so it was Election Day and I just couldn’t get excited about it. And I just wound up going to play golf and I said, ‘I’m not doing that.’”
Of course, it didn’t take long at all for fans and critics to weigh in on the matter. Many of them took to their social media accounts to write, “Ugh. Why isn’t there a law that says you have to have voted in at least the last 3 elections to run for office?” along with, “Caitlyn’s just dumb. When you are voting in an election, you are not just voting for the top office. You are also voting for ballot measures, local representatives and judges.”
Another critic wrote, “The thing is, people looked up her voting records (you can see if someone voted, but not who/what they voted for) and she DID vote in the 2020 election. So she’s so lazy she forgot she did that? What a dumb thing to say if she’s campaigning. Why would anyone vote for her if she herself claims that their vote doesn’t count?”
So far Caitlyn herself has not responded to any of the criticism.
