British Royal News finds that it has definitely been a very difficult week for Queen Elizabeth and the rest of the royal family, especially now that the entire world knows that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have one foot out the door. But could that also be why Her Majesty forgot to wear a seatbelt while she was driving near her Sandringham House? That’s what royal fans want to know!
According to Page Six, 93-year-old Queen Elizabeth was spotted behind the wheel without a seatbelt near her Sandringham Estate this past week. This comes only after her husband, Prince Philip, was badly injured in a crash near the same area. Prince Philip was also not wearing a seatbelt at the time and sustained some injuries.

While there’s no doubt that Queen Elizabeth enjoys driving, a lot of royal fans can’t help but wonder why she prefers to drive without a seatbelt on, especially knowing what kind of risks it can bring. But then again, the Queen certainly has had a lot to think about, seeing how this has not been the best year for the royal family. Not only did she have to deal with the humiliating fallout from her son Prince Andrew and his association with the controversial but now dead Jeffrey Epstein, but also her grandson’s decision to leave the royal family.
Both Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have announced that they plan to step down from their roles as senior royals and that they wish to become financially independent from the monarchy. How they plan on doing that, however, no one knows. It’s been noted that Prince Harry has been locked in four-way talks with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, and Prince William while trying to iron out the details of their ‘Megxit.’
