    Queen Elizabeth

British Royal News finds that some said that a picture is worth a thousand words, and apparently a missing picture for the royal family means so much more! There are new reports that says that photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were missing during Queen Elizabeth’s annual speech on Christmas Day. Here’s what you need to know.

This year Queen Elizabeth had a lot to say – even though it has also been one of the most bumpy years in recent history for the royal family – but it’s what she didn’t say that has everyone talking. Even though there were photos of her husband Prince Philip, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles and Prince William and Kate Middleton along with their three children present, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were nowhere to be seen. It’s even more puzzling as this past year the Duchess of Sussex gave birth to the Queen’s eight great-grandchild, Archie Harrison. And while Her Majesty did mention Archie’s birth in her speech, she didn’t seem to want to acknowledge the Sussex family at all with a framed photo on her desk.

While no one knows why the omission was made, there’s some speculation that Queen Elizabeth is none too pleased over the fact that Harry and Meghan skipped the holiday festivities with the rest of the royal family at Sandringham Estate this year. Instead, they opted to spend the holiday in Toronto, Canada with Meghan’s friends and of course her mother Doria Ragland, who traveled from Los Angeles to be with him.

Of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle weren’t the only people missing from the framed photographs. It was also noted that the Queen’s son Prince Andrew was nowhere to be seen, too. But seeing how he was the center of many embarrassing and ugly controversies this year, it makes sense that the Queen wouldn’t want to add his photo, despite the fact that Prince Andrew is still her son.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the Sussex’s missing photos. In the meantime, let us know what you think by leaving us a line with your thoughts below. And as always, come back to Daily Soap Dish for all the latest news and updates on the royal family right here!
