British Royal News suggest that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle might have been doing themselves more than just a huge favor when they decided to ‘social distance’ themselves from the rest of the royal family before it even became a buzzword. Now that reports say Prince Charles has tested positive for the coronavirus, there’s a strong possibility that other members of the royal family might have it, too. In fact, it might only be a matter of time before they test positive as well. Here’s what you need to know.

As many royal fans and observers can recall, both the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were seated rather far away from the rest of the royal family, including Prince William and Kate Middleton. Many eagle-eyed royal fans even noticed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge barely even acknowledged Harry and Meghan, let alone look in their direction during the entire service. While it might have been a very awkward situation for all parties involved, it might have been a safe one for Harry and Meghan. While they might not have known it at the time, they were probably keeping themselves safe from the coronavirus.

While Buckingham Palace has so far acknowledged that they do not know how Prince Charles got infected, there’s a chance that it might have been by someone very close in his inner circle. And seeing how Prince William and Kate Middleton keep very close to both him and Camilla Parker-Bowles, there’s a chance that they, too, might soon find out their coronavirus test results as well. The latest statistics show that there are over 436,420 reported cases in over 150 countries, with a death toll of 19,638. That number is expected to rise in the coming weeks, especially as more people are accessing tests. In the UK, there have been 8,077 cases and 422 deaths so far.
