British Royal News suggest that the rift between Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton was so serious that the two royals have apparently not spoken to each other in months after cutting ties on social media. As a matter of fact, there’s a new report that suggests the last time the two sister-in-laws were in contact was about six months ago and during a texting conversation on WhatsApp. Here’s what you need to know.
While Meghan Markle and Kate Middleton did put in a huge effort to make it looks like they did get along, apparently behind the scenes it was a different story. Britain’s The Mirror reports that the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex have always had an icy relationship, with things worse now than ever before.

An insider told the Sunday People: “Meghan feels like some members of the Royal Family look down on her because of her background. It has caused her a lot of upset and left relations in a very sorry state. They must find a way to resolve it and move forward as a family united.” If that weren’t enough, it’s also been suggested that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle seemingly ignored Kate Middleton on her 38th birthday. Whether that was done intentionally or not is anyone’s guess, as it happened to be the same day that the Sussexes announced they are stepping down from their roles as senior royals.
While there were some reports that said Kate Middleton was hoping that her children would get to see more of Meghan Markle’s son Archie Harrison in the new year, it doesn’t look like that is going to happen anytime soon. Reports say that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s son, along with their dogs and most of their belongings are already in Canada and that they are staying there, too.
