British Royal News says that Queen Elizabeth lived her life to the fullest and had no regets in her final days. “The truth is that Her Majesty always knew that her remaining time was limited. She accepted this with all the grace you’d expect,” writes royal author Gyles Brandreth in his new book Elizabeth: An Intimate Portrait. Here’s what you need to know.

In an excerpt published by the Daily Mail, he speaks of the rumor the queen had a rare form of myeloma, a bone marrow cancer, “which would explain her tiredness and weight loss and those ‘mobility issues’ we were often told about during the last year or so of her life.”

In an excerpt published by the Daily Mail, he speaks of the rumor the queen had a rare form of myeloma, a bone marrow cancer, “which would explain her tiredness and weight loss and those ‘mobility issues’ we were often told about during the last year or so of her life.”

According to Brandreth’s book, the queen started feeling a “sudden ‘energy low'” and “felt exhausted” in 2021, around the same time she was checked into hospital for an overnight stay. Her health was a constant concern from then.

Just last month, King Charles sent a message of support to his fans after his mother’s death. King Charles has sent his fans a cream card with a message of thanks on it. “It was so very kind of you to send me such a wonderfully generous message following the death of my beloved mother.

Your most thoughtful words are enormously comforting, and I cannot tell you how deeply they are appreciated at this time of immense sorrow,” the king wrote, signing the card Charles R, alongside a poignant childhood photo with Queen Elizabeth.

As many fans can recall, the queen died on September 8th at Balmoral Castle, upon which Charles ascended the throne. Buckingham Palace previously shared they’d received over 50,000 letters and cards, while more than 1,000 Paddingtons and other teddy bears left by mourners following the queen’s death would be donated to charity.

Meanwhile, the coronation of King Charles III will take place on Saturday May 6, 2023, Buckingham Palace has announced. The King will be crowned at the religious service alongside his wife Camilla, the Queen Consort.

The palace said the ceremony will be “rooted in longstanding traditions and pageantry” but also “reflect the monarch’s role today and look towards the future.” The Archbishop of Canterbury will conduct the coronation at Westminster Abbey in London, in keeping with a 900-year tradition.
