British Royal Family News suggests that if there’s one person who just can’t catch a break, it’s mostly definitely Princess Beatrice. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter was supposed to tie the knot with her fiancé Edoardo Mapelli in May but had to reschedule and ultimately postpone her wedding because of the Covid-19 pandemic. While Princess Beatrice is yet to reschedule her nuptials or even plan for the future, it looks like there’s another roadblock in her way. That roadblock happens to be Kate Middleton’s brother, James Middleton. Here’s what you need to know.
According to Britain’s Express.co.uk, James Middleton is also looking to get married to his fiancé, Alizee Thevenet. In fact, James and Alizee were supposed to get married during the same time that Princess Beatrice and Edoardo were supposed to have their big Italian wedding. While James and Alizee’s wedding won’t be the huge, royal affair that Princess Beatrice’s will be, there’s the matter of setting the right date and making sure that her wedding doesn’t conflict with James and Alizee’s ceremony. Why? Because there’s no way that both Prince William and Kate Middleton can be at both weddings at the same time.

Princess Beatrice wants her wedding to be just as grand and luxurious as that of royal weddings in the past: particularly Prince William and Kate Middleton’s 2011 ceremony, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s 2018 bash, and of course, her own sister Princess Eugenie’s big October wedding to her husband, Jack Brooksbank. This also means that she is expected to have all of the A-list guests and royal family members like William and Kate center and present for the royal soiree.
But with James and Alizee planning their own wedding for around the same time, Princess Beatrice now has a huge dilemma. Sure, James is Kate Middleton’s brother, but she’s also the future Queen Consort of England. There’s no way that she can or even should skip a royal wedding, right? It will be interesting to see what Beatrice does and if James caves into any of her demands when it comes to picking out the right date on the calendar.
