British Royal Family News finds that it would seem likely that Princess Beatrice will need to wait even longer for the royal wedding that she has been waiting for her whole life. Her marriage to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has already been pushed back from the original date, and more delays could be possible following the outbreak of the coronavirus.
The couple were meant to get married in May at St James’s Palace, but the pandemic ensured that couldn’t happen. According to the reports in the press, Beatrice was disappointed that the wedding was cancelled.

Beatrice is ninth in line for the throne, which meant that her wedding was going to be a huge occasion. However, it was officially cancelled after they were unable to get items such as portaloos and marquees into the Buckingham Palace gardens during the pandemic.
A source close to the couple stated that they were disappointed about the cancellation of the wedding. However, they also went on to say that they appreciate that the safety of their guests was of the utmost importance. A new date has not yet been scheduled, but it will likely have to be towards the end of the year if they would want the Queen to attend.

This isn’t the only setback that the couple have had in preparation for walking down the aisle. They had already endured unfortunate timing for tying the knot after all the news centring around her father Prince Andrew also came out. All the allegations surrounding her father threatened to take the attention away from her big day.
Those allegations led to the announcement that there would be no television coverage for her big day, which would have come as a huge blow. The date for the wedding now could be in 2021, which will mean another year-long wait for Beatrice.
