British Royal Family News finds that today is the first day that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry will no longer be working royals. They made the decision to step back from active royal duty earlier in the year, and there have already been announcements over the past couple of hours regarding changes that will be implemented immediately.
The vast majority of the changes will centre on how the couple will communicate compared to the remainder of the royal family throughout their new life. The biggest of which will be the change in spokesperson since stepping back, as they will now be represented by a PR company.
British Royal Family News: No Royal Spokesperson
The biggest change will see the Duke and Duchess of Sussex no longer have the spokespeople around them that the rest of the royal family have. Instead, they have opted to sign on with a huge PR company in the USA, who have represented Michael Jackson in the past.
Meghan’s sister also spoke out about how this could be the right move for the couple, but she also pleaded that to amend the family relations she should reach out to their father. She hasn’t spoken to Thomas Markle since getting married to Prince Harry, and that has often been a decision that she has been berated for.
British Royal Family News: Sister Pleads With Meghan
Meghan’s sister continued, claiming that if a worldwide pandemic doesn’t eventually bring them closer to talking, then nothing will. The Duchess of Sussex’s first non-royal commitment will be released on the 3rd, as she starts in Disney+ show ‘Elephant’.
The relationship between Meghan and Harry, and the royal family remains good according to reports. That was something that the couple alluded to in their final post as working royals on Tuesday, as they admitted that they are looking forward to helping ‘contribute’ towards the royal family.
