“Bea can’t wait to have kids of her own,” once source told Us Weekly. “She’s planning to start a family with Edo very soon and is hoping it’ll happen this year.”
Luckily, Princess Beatrice is getting all of the practice that she can get as she is already an official stepmother to Edo’s 4-year-old son, Wolfie. Of course, she’s not the first stepmother in the royal family. Camilla Parker Bowles is also a step mom to Prince William and Prince Harry.
“Beatrice is a wonderful and very hands-on stepmom,” a separate source also told People Magazine adding, “Princess Beatrice has embraced [Wolfie] as part of her life from the outset. He is very much part of their life.”
So far Princess Beatrice herself has not made any comments about her pregnancy plans, but if she does end up announcing one by the end of this year, it would definitely give everyone some very good news as this year has been one of the most difficult ones on record for the royal family. With Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leaving the monarchy, the global pandemic that has been the coronavirus and Prince Andrew’s controversial headlines, Queen Elizabeth could surely use all of the good news she can get these days.
