British Royal Family News says that if you think you’ve seen the last of Prince Andrew, you might want to think again because it looks like he’s planning a comeback. Much to the dismay of royal critics all over the world, there is a new report that suggests Queen Elizabeth’s favorite son is looking to get back to public life, and sooner rather than later. Here’s what you need to know.
According to new reports, Buckingham Palace is none too pleased with the reports that says a yacht club wants to cut the cord on their relationship with their patron, Prince Andrew. In fact, the Prince of York is facing even more public humiliation as Britain’s most famous yacht club wants to “sack” him because of his links to Jeffrey Epstein.
British Royal Family News: Prince Andrew Is Preparing A Comeback
According to the Daily Mail, a source said: “There is a strong feeling that Andrew is not a suitable commodore. It is a family-orientated club and Andrew is not in keeping with that. There is a strong desire to replace him with Kate. She is an accomplished sailor and would be a huge asset as the club’s first female commodore. The Palace is digging its heels in because they want to avoid further embarrassment for Andrew. If the RTYC removes him other similar organizations will follow. It is complicated by the club’s royal status – the role of commodore is effectively in the gift of the Queen.”
If that weren’t enough, a second source says that Prince Andrew is keen to get back to work with his public appearances and royal engagements, despite the fact that he’s become persona non grata in many different circles.
A source close to Andrew said: “The duke has been on the receiving end of false accusations for years and understands why some organizations might want to keep their distance. All patronages are on hold whilst he has temporarily stepped aside from public duties to clear his name. He is thinking about how to best serve his country and will work with his family, advisers and stakeholders on what that will look like.”
