‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Thomas is presented with parental rights termination papers
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ (B&B) Spoilers for Wednesday, October 23rd, 2019 indicate that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) is facing the biggest decision of his life. Hope Logan (Annika Noelle), along with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), just presented him with papers that would terminate his legal rights to little Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri) as a Father.
Hope, meanwhile, is trying to make this as easy as she can on Thomas, she is making this heartfelt plea about how she wants to be Douglas’s Mother and that he’s family now and al sorts of other reasons why she should be the one to raise Douglas and not him. Considering how hard he pushed for this himself he’s probably berating himself right now because this was definitely not what he had in mind when he initially took up the cause for Hope to be Douglas’s Mother!

But Thomas isn’t taking this lying down. He’s not about to sign some legal document under duress from other people and give up any and all legal rights to his son when, aside from yelling at the kid a few times, he really hasn’t done anything that could be considered child endangerment or even child abandonment. In Thomas’s mind he has done nothing wrong enough to warrant the loss of his son, especially to “that coven of witches” the Logans, as he called them a few episodes prior. Granted, right now he is facing both Hope and Brooke all by himself and while Hope may be taking the gentle, emotionally-driven approach, you can be wiling to bet that Brooke is not.

‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Steffy is reluctant to forgive
Not to worry though, Thomas won’t be defenseless for long because Daddy Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) will soon come to his rescue. Ridge is downright horrified that Brooke is behind this whole adoption/termination of parental rights paper work. Obviously this is not what he wants for his son and Grandson. He will be furious at Brooke and she will catch hell’s end of his wrath.
Speaking of Ridge, he’s spending time with Steffy Forrester (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) trying to get her back in Thomas’s camp. He doesn’t want there to be any bad blood between the siblings but getting Steffy to forgive Thomas is going to be quite a lot to ask, considering he was all part and parcel of the whole baby swap scandal that played a large role in breaking her heart.
‘Bold and the Beautiful’ Spoilers: Calvary comes in the form of Daddy Ridge
Steffy will mention what Hope told her earlier, that now Douglas was a part of hers and Liam’s family. She’ll tell him how shocked she was by that statement and Ridge will share her sentiment. That’s when he’ll ride in to Thomas’s rescue. So far, Ridge has been pretty even-tempered with Brooke and fair to Thomas but when he sees how much these two are trying to bulldoze his son into a decision that he shouldn’t be making, he’ll go ballistic.
