Released from jail only day ago, Bill Cosby is already jumping feet first back into showbiz. The disgraced comedian is said to be not only working on a docuseries about himself but is preparing to return to stand-up comedy.

Cosby’s rep, Andrew Wyatt, spoke to TMZ, saying that Cosby wants to hit the road and the comedy circuit. Apparently Cosby’s ‘people’ are in the midst of contacting comedy club owners and promoters. According to Wyatt, these establishments are “open to the idea”.

Wyatt believes, “The world wants to see Mr. Cosby.”  We think he may have forgotten the last part of his sentence, and that is: “The world wants to see Mr. Cosby…complete HIS sentence.”

Outrage was widespread when news broke of Cosby’s prison release after Pennsylvania’s high court overturned his sexual assault conviction. However, this has not stopped the 83 year old from putting his face out there.

Currently working on a 5-part docuseries covering his life, legacy, trial and prison experience, Cosby is said to be filming his interviews for the series in the coming days. Producers have already shot interviews with family and friends of the comedian and other celebs that have been a part of his life.

If a docu-series and comedy tour wasn’t saturation enough, Cosby is also said to be interested in making appearances  in prisons, schools and neighborhoods, speaking out about how to be a better citizen and to curb violence.

You can’t make this stuff up.

Wyatt explained that this was inspired by Cosby’s experiences behind bars. He claims the moving stories from other inmates, including a father and son serving time together, gives him the drive to ‘reach out’.

Finally, in the vein of O.J. Simpson, Cosby is co-authoring a book with novelist Frederick Williams, focusing on his criminal case and subsequent prison experience.

Cosby sure is ready to start earning those Benjamins again, it will be interesting to see if anyone actually wants to hear from the man, again, though.
