With Counting On canceled, many fans of large, fundamentalist families want to know who else they can watch. The Duggars paved the way for these large families, but TLC has many more to offer for those that need their fix. With the charges against Josh Duggar, TLC felt that they needed to take care of that as a family unit. They wrote, “TLC will not be producing an additional season of Counting On. TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately.” So what does this mean for TLC watchers who just need large families to follow? Oh don’t worry, there are plenty more where that came from.
Big TLC Familes Still with Shows
One of the newest big families to hit TLC is the Derrico family from Las Vegas. Deon Derrico and Karen Derrico have 14 children and that means multiples! They have done two seasons of the show and fans just can’t get enough of them. We saw them hit some bumps in the road with the pandemic and it seems like they just keep bouncing back! Their children are adorable and Deon and Karen work really hard as parents to help keep them all in line.
Welcome to Plathville is another show with a big family! This south Georgia family never wanted their children exposed to television or social media, but now that the big kids are out of the house, all hell is breaking loose! These older siblings are trying to get away from their parents’ strict morals and make lives of their own.
7 Little Johnstons is another big family, but this one is a lot less traditional. This show focuses on a little family and their children. Amber Johnston and Trent Johnston have five children and they are a family with achondroplasia dwarfism. The show has been on since 2015 and it has become a fan favorite. The kids have started to grow up and get into college and this has captivated fans.
