Jason Weaver, who was best known for being in the band ‘Big Daddy Weave’, has reportedly died as a result of complications caused by Covid-19.

‘Big Daddy Weave’s’ Jason Weaver Has Died After Reported Complications From Covid-19

Jay, for his part, has not had the best of health. It was only just in 2016 that the star was admitted to hospital following the onset of an infection which resulted in both of his feet being amputated.

But any chance of Jason pulling through this time around, however, were put to bed when his brother announced the tragic news.

In an official statement, his brother Mike stated the following: “I’m sorry to bring this news, but I am excited to celebrate where he is right now.

“My brother Jay went to be with Jesus just a couple hours ago.” The response on social media was one of huge sadness.

Large numbers of fans came out in droves in order to express their dismay at what had happened. Although that is not going to bring him back, the very fact of the matter is that it is the only thing that is keeping Mike going.

And yet, others were interested to know whether or not Jason had taken the vaccine. After all, there was a suggestion that this may have played a part in his death. One fan on social media wrote: “Let me guess. He was also vaccinated.”

Despite the uncertainty that was being expressed on social media, Mike sought to put it to bed by confirming that it was indeed Covid which had taken his brother’s life.

And rather than trying to debate on whether he was vaccinated, he simply wanted the fans to make sure that Jason was remembered for what he does best: that is to make great music.

Mike added: “You’ve seen him walk the uphill battle and you guys helped carry him through so much. Even though COVID took his last breath, Jesus was right there to catch him.”

Hopefully, with time, Mike will be able to deal with the grief. And in the meantime, the fans will be there to support him every step of the way to make sure that he is fine.
