‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers Thursday, June 5: Kat Takes Matters into Her Own Hands After Jacob’s Report; Eva Admits She Misses Working for Nicole and Helps Laura
Of course, Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) isn’t one to listen when she doesn’t want to.
She’ll try, but when Jacob Hawthorne (Jibre Hordges)’s search of Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann-Grant)’s home comes up empty, she’ll make her own plans.
It’s not a surprise that she’ll want him to search Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle)’s room. Without evidence he can’t, but we expect Kat to take matters into her own hands.
Speaking of Eva, she’s going to have a heart to heart with Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson). She’ll miss working for Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnée Duplaix), but there may be a way back in.
Laura Petersen (Destiny Love) will struggle with her return to work. She’ll be welcomed, but Eva installed a new system and may have altered other things.
That will leave Laura scrambling and she may have to reach out to Eva for help.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers have been waiting to see how badly Kat will earn the name Kit Kat Brat.
When Jacob’s search comes up empty, she’ll press him to search Eva’s place. Since he can’t, she’ll happily do so herself.
We expect so many things to go wrong when she does this. We think Eva is smart enough not to have Leslie’s helmet and gloves there.
She’ll continue to hinder Jacob’s investigation, but when Eva returns with Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria) things will spiral.

Meanwhile, Laura will return to work amid celebrations and good wishes, but there will be an issue.
It looks like she’s going to have a learning curve thanks to Eva changing things to work better. It’s always tough to get used to a new system.
The fact Laura was replaced because of Leslie’s psychotic actions will leave her in a tough place. She may call Eva for help, but that will show that she’s not up for the job.
But it would be a good way for Eva to show she’s selfless to the family and Laura. It’ll show them she’s not her mom’s child despite Eva’s claims and demonizing.
