‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers here and we’re ready for another visit to Fairmont Crest and we have some spoilery goodies to share.

The episode for Thursday, January 8 looks like it’s going to be an interesting one as we’ll get a whole range of emotions coming.

It’s the day before Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie)’s chemo starts, and she’s got an idea. We don’t think it’ll be her ignoring what’s coming, but embracing what’s good in life.

So, she’ll throw a party for her family and have a great time before she’s too tired to do so. It’ll be a great moment before she begins her chemo.

While Anita is trying to stay positive, not all of her family will be onboard.

Kat Richardson (Colby Muhammad) doesn’t want to take the test and live with knowing cancer could be coming.

We expect this will trigger Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla) and she’ll have something to say about it. Chelsea isn’t confrontational, but she could get feisty in this one when Kat gets heated.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, January 8: It’s party time!

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers love how Anita refuses to give into her fear. Granted, running from it doesn’t help, but after Tracy Tyler (Maria Howell) made her fight back, Anita is a power to watch.

She won’t want to go into her chemo treatments hoping she’ll be all right. She’ll want to load up on happiness and the positive energy her family brings.

They’re her strength, so she’ll set up a party and want to dance all night. Everyone will be concerned for her, but she’ll be fine.

She’ll want today to be special and take tomorrow each day as it comes.

‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers for Thursday, January 8: Kat and Chelsea won’t budge

We love the complexity of the show’s characters, and Kat leads the charge in many ways. But Chelsea is right there as a quiet strength and brawler when she needs to be one.

So, when she tries to talk to Kat about getting tested, se won’t like Kat’s response.

In Kat’s mind, she’ll be living with a ticking time bomb in her head if she has the gene. So, she’d rather live without the worry and hope she never has to worry about it.

Sticking her head in the sand won’t help her as it’ll put her in position to not be prepared for a possible diagnosis.

There’s a chance she won’t have the gene, but she’ll never know if she doesn’t get tested.

Chelsea won’t agree, and she’ll try to push Kat into getting tested.

We think the argument will be Chelsea saying if she doesn’t have the gene then she won’t have to worry, and Kat will counter with not knowing means she doesn’t have it.

It’s not logical, but it’s a natural response and we’re looking forward to seeing how she deals with this going forward.

Will Chelsea be the one to convince Kat to get tested? Let us know in the comments below.
