‘Beyond the Gates’ spoilers reveal that we all knew it was about to go down between “Kitty Kat Brat” Katherine Richardson (Colby Muhammud), Tomas Navarro (Alex Alegria), and Eva Thomas (Ambyr Michelle).
‘Beyond the Gates’ Spoilers: Eva And Kat Have Both Been Involved With Tomas For Months
The soapy love triangle between the three characters has officially heated up on BTG. Most fans are either team Kat or team Eva.
The jury is still out on that for us. That said, Kat has led an incredibly charmed life. She grew up in a wealthy family with good parents, Nicole Dupree Richardson (Daphnee Duplaix) and Ted Richardson (Keith D. Robinson).
Kat is entitled and somewhat snooty. Yet, she does have that special brand of whip-smart wit. On the flip side, Eva grew up with very little but a crazy mom, Leslie Thomas (Trisha Mann Grant), who likes to wear a lot of wigs.
Now that Leslie has come into real money, we feel a bit less sorry for Eva in that department. However, we have to admit that we empathize with her for the way Tomas treated her.
Eva and Kat have been involved with Tomas the cad for months, and we still don’t see why either woman is interested in him.
Kat, who was a virgin before she slept with Tomas, claimed that there were no sparks between her and Tomas between the sheets and that Tomas was “bad in bed.”
We have to wonder how Kat would even know what it means to be bad in bed since Tomas was her first lover. Yet, Tomas has been messing with both women’s minds.
Eva and Tomas had been dancing around each other for a while and finally gave in to their passion. Who didn’t see that coming from ten miles away?
In the September 30th episode of BTG, s**t hit the fan when Kat went to see Eva at her apartment and found Tomas walking around shirtless after they had clearly just had sex.
‘Beyond The Gates’ Spoilers: Kat Is The Ultimate Spoiled Brat
Kat, who hadn’t returned any of Tomas’s calls, had confided in Eva about how Kat felt. Eva ended up making the first move.
Kat was shocked to find her man with her half-sister and told them as much, while Eva made sure to boast to Kat about how good Tomas really is in bed. Ouch.
After Kat left, Tomas rejected Eva, telling her that he didn’t mean to lead her on. Eva tried to convince Tomas that he should be with her.
In response, Tomas told Eva that what happened between them was a mistake. Eva ordered Tomas to get out of her apartment and told him that she never wanted to see him again.
The moment Tomas left, Eva broke down in tears, and it was very hard not to have compassion for her.
When Kat spoke to Chelsea Hamilton (RhonniRose Mantilla), she made it quite clear that the only reason she wasn’t about to give up on Tomas was that she wouldn’t let Eva win.
Truthfully, Kat doesn’t seem too invested in her relationship with Tomas. He’s a successful lawyer and simply checks all her boxes. Kat carries herself like the ultimate spoiled brat, hence Leslie’s clever nickname for her.
If there’s anything she learned from watching her mom and Ted, it’s that she doesn’t want to end up like Leslie.
Regardless, we’re unsure what in the world these two smart, attractive women see in Tomas. No matter which woman you’re rooting for, team Kat or team Eva, most of us can agree with that.
