According to reports, the couple were going to hold a big wedding celebration this weekend after having spontaneously gotten married in Los Angeles. With that being said, this is the last thing that the actor needed to go through.
It is claimed that his mother was taken to St. Joseph Candler hospital, Savannah, after having allegedly fallen off a dock at his home. It was further suggested that she had cut her leg which is why the hospital was required.
In the pictures here, we can see Ben, his mother and Jennifer at the hospital. Ben is having a cigarette as he appears stressed out, while Jennifer engages in conversation with Christopher as she is sitting down in a wheelchair.
This incident raises very significant questions: First of all, it is not exactly clear how serious this could end up being. The fact that Ben’s mother required a wheelchair suggests that she has some mobility issues even if this was a precautionary measure.
Secondly, it also raises questions over whether the wedding celebrations will go ahead. After all, would the couple want to have a celebration if Ben’s mother was not in full health or even absent. And yet, by delaying proceedings, it would disrupt the extensive planning that has been conducted.
Regardless of what the case may be, the fans on social media had a lot to say on the matter. They were hopeful that Ben’s mother would make a recovery as soon as possible, so that the festivities could go ahead. One person wrote: “What happened I hope everything is going to be alright with Ben…God bless You Both.”
