Ruby Rose, who was best known for being the lead on Batwoman, has spoken out against the show over the lack of safety it had for its cast members.

Ruby, for her part, caused major shockwaves around the world when she announced that she would be leaving the show after just one season. Although Ruby did resonate with the fans, it was not enough to prevent her from leaving.
And by the looks of it, she did not have much choice due to the fact that she was very outspoken against the behaviour that she saw on set. Ruby stated that the writer of the show Caroline Dries was largely absent from the set.
Therefore, there were not enough people on hand to look after the welfare of the actors. And so it showed, as a member of the show, had suffered from extensive burns. Meanwhile, a personal assistant had also suffered from quadriplegia.
But rather than everyone rallying together, the personal assistant was forced to cover her own medical expenses by way of raising the funds on GoFundMe.
And that is something that left Ruby feeling outraged. In a post to her fans on social media, she said: “@CarolineDries has no heart and wanted us to finish the season throughout the pandemic, and I told her it was a bad idea.
“I felt something bad would happen, and @CarolineDries maybe visited the set 4 times in a year….UNHEARD OF.” Naturally, these disagreements did not make Ruby a very popular member of the crew.
But rather than the producers addressing the allegations directly, they called out Ruby for her lack of professionalism on set. After all, despite what Ruby has said, no other co-star has come out and backed her up.
As such, it could be viewed as a case of sour grapes. And yet, Ruby did not regret what she did. She stated: “I will come for you so what happened to me never happens to another person again.
“And so I can finally take back my life and the truth. Shame on you.” Ruby was brave in speaking out, but whether it will lead to change is anyone’s guess.
