Chris Conran, who is known for being on The Bachelorette, has hit back at the claims being made that he is gay.

‘Bachelor In Paradise’: Chris Conran Denies That He Is Gay-‘Don’t Impose Sexuality On Individuals’

The star is now on Bachelor in Paradise. And the public immediately began to ask questions over his sexuality when he arrived on the show just last week. And given the mannerisms that he was conveying, there was speculation that he was attracted to men. Chris, though, denied anything of the sort.

In a post to his fans on Twitter, he said: “I’ve noticed rumours of people questioning my sexuality online and on podcasts. I am not gay. It is disrespectful that society effeminates Asian men and uses ‘gay’ as a derogatory term. Don’t impose sexuality on individuals.”

These rumours may have been stoked up by Nick Viall during his podcast, where a guest of the show hinted that he might have gotten the feeling that Chris was into men.

During an appearance on his ‘Viall Files’ podcast, comedian Dave Holmes remarked: “I was getting kind of a fluid vibe from Chris and Chasen when they showed up. I was certain that it was, like, ‘Oh, these are the guys who are sort of bicurious.” It is not out of the realms of possibility that Chris may be gay. After all, we only have to look at the Bachelor franchise in recent history to see why.

It was not too long ago when Colton Underwood came out as gay, even though he competed on The Bachelor. Not only that, but he went into a relationship with Cassie Randolph before backtracking on everything and dropping the huge bombshell.

In addition, we have also seen same-sex relationships on the show. This occurred in 2019 when Demi Burnett stated that she was bisexual. Subsequently, she hooked up with none other than Kristian Haggerty.

Soon after, they went on to get engaged, but things ended as they split up in 2019. Chris may not be gay, but that does not mean that gay men will not be attracted to him. We will have to see how his journey on the show will play out.
