Anna Faris is opening up about her past relationship with her ex-husband Chris Pratt and how she didn’t handle all of the “competitiveness and comparison” with him, especially when his Hollywood career began to skyrocket. Here’s what you need to know.
The blonde beauty, who is now engaged to Michael Barrett, but was also previously married to both Chris Pratt and Ben Indra, reflected on her past marriages. During her latest episode of Anna Faris is Unqualified, she got candid about her personal life with her guest, Gwyneth Partlow.
Anna Faris Says She Didn’t Handle All Of The Competitiveness With Her Ex-Husband Chris Pratt Very Well
“My two other marriages were with actors and I don’t think we did a great job of eliminating competitiveness,” Faris, 44, told Paltrow, 48. “Or at least I didn’t, being a proud person, and not wanting to reveal vulnerability.”
“Any hint of competitiveness and comparison, I didn’t handle that very well, I don’t think,” she continued. “And I hope I’ve grown from that.”
Gwyneth Paltrow discussed her own marriage to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin, saying she never thought she would be divorced. The couple separated in 2014 and she went on to marry her current husband, Brad Falchuk.
“I never wanted to get divorced,” Paltrow said. “I never wanted to not be married to the father of my kids, theoretically. But I have learned more about myself through that process than I could have imagined. And because I focused on accountability, I was then able to find the most amazing man and build something that I’ve never had before with Brad, my husband.”
Meanwhile, Chris Pratt has gone on to marry Katherine Schwarzenegger.
