‘THE BLVD’ Spoilers: New Digital Soap Snags Adam huss, Vincent Irizarry, and Jordi Vilasuso to Star

It’s a fun thing seeing soap operas making a comeback of sorts with new shows like ‘The Gates’ on CBS and ‘THE BLVD’ Spoilers are ecstatic to welcome a new show to the package.

Yep, it’s called ‘THE BLVD’ and it’s hitting the ground running with three big signings as they’ve added good daytime talent for their initial six episode run.

Soap Opera Digest shared the news that the show signed Adam Huss, Vincent Irizarry, and Jordi Vilasuso to the show, and it’s strictly a digital drama series.

At least, for now. Things could change, but it looks like the paradigm is shifting more to a digitized age as we’re seeing standard television starting to fall by the wayside.

‘THE BLVD’ Spoilers – Fresh Start

With each network offering most of their shows on their own streaming platforms, it seems only a matter of time before the change over increases in pace.

And with many paying as much for streaming services (and the wifi needed) as we are for a cable bill, it makes sense in a way given ‘Days of Our Lives’ has already made the move.

It also makes sense to try to get the show off to a good start to bring in the talent needed to get it going as the show begins production this week in Los Angeles.

Joining the three we mentioned, Nicholle Tom will also appear in the series, and ‘DOOL’ director and former producer Sonia Blangiardo is a consulting producer.

‘THE BLVD’ Spoilers – New setting

Devanny Pinn created ‘THE BLVD’ and the show will be part of a fast paced world of a boutique public relations agency during the awards season.

That is a definitive way to ramp up the drama as they’ll have to convey the hectic nature or preparing for the award shows.

The official synopsis shared by Soap Opera Digest says:

“Owned by entertainment titan Persephone Reed, PR Haus is the most prestigious boutique publicity firm in Los Angeles. The group of talented professionals who make up the company work tirelessly to shape the public perception of their celebrity clientele…. Each episode of THE BLVD showcases an insider’s perspective into the intricate world of red carpets, press junkets, and photo shoots that make up this exciting and demanding period that all comes to an explosive head at the season finale. Whose client will not survive their scandal? Which Haus agent will be fired? And will the firm achieve their ultimate goal: winning at the season’s biggest awards show?”

According to Devanny Pinn, “At its core, THE BLVD is a story about ambition, self-discovery and the lengths people will go to succeed in the competitive world of Hollywood.”

It has us looking forward to it and with so many potential angles to cover, it’ll be fun to see what the show runners have in store for us.
