‘General Hospital’ (GH) spoilers disclose that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) finds out Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) has been covering Charlotte Cassadine’s (Scarlett Fernandez) misdeeds. Needless to say, she is more than just a little unhappy with him for keeping this from her.
Anna may also find out that Valentin had Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) delete the security footage that proves that Charlotte was the one who trashed Anna’s hotel room.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Charlotte Should Be Held Accountable
Anna believes in accountability. After all, she built her career on helping the right side of the law. Sure, she’s bent the rules a time or two, but she is a stickler for doing the right thing.
Anna may want Valentin to tell Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) the truth about what Charlotte has done so that she can get the help she needs.
Valentin may refuse because Valentin is a Cassadine, which means he often makes decisions based on self-preservation.
Anna would also be empathetic if she knew that Victor Cassadine (Charles Shaughnessy) had brainwashed Charlotte and sent her secret letters that painted Anna as being poison for her papa.
This is also not the first time Charlotte has caused trouble. She has a history of being a mischievous little maniac.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Charlotte Has Always Been a Troublemaker
Charlotte bullied her cousin Aiden Spencer (Enzo De Angelis) in school and brought a snake to Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) birthday party and put it in Ava Jerome’s (Maura West) purse to get revenge on her for taking the Cassadine fortune from her papa.
In Charlotte’s defense, she had it rough when she was a child. Charlotte was taken from who she believed was her mother, Claudette Beaulieu (Bree Williamson) after it was revealed that she was just a surrogate and Lulu Spencer (Emme Rylan) was her real mother.
The custody battle between Lulu and Valentin was highly stressful and confusing for her. Charlotte finally accepted Lulu as her mother, but Valentin fled with Charlotte and took her with him to avoid imprisonment.
When her papa was finally caught and imprisoned, Charlotte lived with Lulu and Dante Falconari (Dominic Zamprogna). Charlotte was upset when Valentin and Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) broke up since she had a strong bond with Nina.
‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Charlotte Has Had a Tough Life
Lulu lapsed into a coma due to a traumatic brain injury she suffered when the Floating Rib was blown up. She has been in a coma since November 2020. Charlotte hasn’t had a stable mother figure in a long time.
None of that excuses her terrorizing Anna. Valentin even thinks Charlotte may have set fire to Anna’s house, and he still hasn’t told Anna the truth.
Anna will likely blame Valentin for enabling Charlotte and covering up her crimes. After all, she’s a teenager and should learn to take responsibility for Pete’s sake.
Valentin isn’t doing Charlotte any favors by keeping this secret from Anna. He betrayed Anna’s trust and should have to answer for that.
Charlotte has become a spoiled, entitled brat, and she shouldn’t be getting away with what she is doing to Anna. That being said, she is a Cassadine, and causing mischief and mayhem is in her blood.
