Erika Jayne has clarified her comments in which she shaded Dorit Kemsley by claiming that she and her husband Paul Kemsley would break up.

Erika’s comments were made at the 20222 BravoCon. During the course of that process, Erika was asked which couple she felt would end up parting ways next. However, she was very hesitant to answer this question since she was in the presence of the other housewives.
That naturally would have had the impact of making things very uncomfortable, as any name would have antagonised someone. But after having been booed for refusing to answer the question, Erika decided to respond by claiming that Dorit and PK would split up.
That did not go down very well with Paul, who let everybody know in no uncertain terms that he was not going to stand for Erika’s comments. This was particularly since Erika and Dorit were generally on good terms. In response to the comments, Paul had stated the following: “Erika Jayne thought her husband was innocent.
“She thought the ankle is more important than the brain. She thought she should keep the earrings. Now, she thinks Dorit and I are next to Split up ….Here’s a quick bit of management advice … stop thinking!”
So in order to diffuse the situation and prevent things from escalating any further, Erika has now come out to state that her comments were made in jest. This does seem to have some credence, as she did make it clear she did not want to give an answer in the first place.
So the fact that Paul ended up shading Erika was something that did not sit well with her. Her following comments confirmed as much: “When did you get so sensitive? You know damn well I was joking.”
