‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) seems to put all of his business before his family, even though he says “IT’S ALL ABOUT FAMILY”. It’s completely untrue and he even admits it to his own sons, Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow).
While he’s found out that Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) has been lying about his cancer, Victor is more worried about his empire than he is Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). Meanwhile, Nick cares about his sister and wants to make sure that she comes out of this as safely as possible.
“Victor begins to put plans in motion, and decides to tread carefully to avoid upsetting Victoria.”
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) Puts His ‘Empire’ Above His Own Daughter
Now, we’ve known this for years, that Victor seems to care more about his company this his own family, but to hear him say it like this was pretty crazy. Some fans are cheering this on and are happy to see Victor going toe to toe with Ashland to take him down, but can we take a minute to talk about how crazy Victor is?
He’s put this company ahead of his family for so long, and even claimed that his family was number one, but they are clearly not that important. Sure, Ashland better watch out, but especially Nick and Victoria are going to be pretty upset about Victor putting them second to Newman Enterprises.
Victor is one of my least favorite characters, and that could be because I’m only a few years in on the soap game, I understand that he has decades of character development behind him, but this, this kind of stuff just makes me despise him.
