‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) spoilers show in a preview for next week that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has had it with Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) and confronts him about his lies and deceit face to face! Victor has felt like there was something off about Ashland for a while, but after getting some confirmation from Michael Baldwin (Christian Le Blanc), he’s ready to shut Ashland down.
Just as Ashland was getting papers made up to become “co-CEO” as well, which makes us wonder if Ashland will stick around after this confrontation or not. He looked a little nervous in the preview and it has us thinking that Ashland may be on his way out of Genoa City shortly.
‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) Confronts Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) In Preview For Next Week
Victor explained to Ashland that the charade is over. As many viewers had already assumed, Ashland was never actually sick, and everything that he’s done up to now has just been a calculated move to try to assume control of Ashland/Locke and take it from the Newmans. However, he’s been caught, and unless he’s weaseled his way in on the paperwork, he’ll be gone shortly.
There’s still one more puzzle piece that needs to be positioned for Victor though, and that’s his daughter Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle), who to her credit has begun to question Ashland a little bit. However, she’s still married to him and believes everything little thing that comes out of his mouth.
Convincing Victoria that Ashland has been lying about everything and that she should get rid of him might be harder than they think. Of course, this is going to make Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) head spin in delight as he’s known something was up with Ashland forever.
