‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City‘ star Jennifer Shah has stated that she wants Kim Kardashian to be part of her legal team amid her telemarketing fraud charges.

Jennifer has been accused of embezzling funds from a series of wealthy clients, as part of a telemarketing fraud scheme. Although she has denied doing anything of the sort, her assistant Stuart Smith had pleaded guilty, which has not helped matters.
And in order to be in the best possible place for her upcoming trial, Jennifer felt that Kim could provide her with some much-needed support. In an episode of the show, Jennifer said: “Listen, Kim Kardashian is not officially part of the Shah squad legal team yet.
“People thought I was joking around when I was like, ‘Do we need to add Kim Kardashian to our legal team?’ I was dead ass 100 serious.” Despite the unlikelihood of this happening, Jennifer believed that Kim could benefit her for the following reasons.
First of all, Kim has recently played a part in legal affairs. She has contributed to helping Alice Johnson get free, as well as speaking out on prison reform. Secondly, even though Jennifer has not explicitly stated this, having Kim involved could produce some publicity which may take the heat off Jennifer.
And by the looks of it, Jennifer wants Kim on her team as soon as possible. She added: “She has been able to be an advocate and affect change for people who have been wrongly accused of crimes. They’re innocent and then she has been able to help be part of the movement.”
Understandably, people were not impressed by what Jennifer had to say. Huge numbers of people on social media felt that this decision was only going to end in tears. After all, Kim is hardly a qualified lawyer.
One person wrote: “Oh…she really wants to go to jail. Why get someone who’s not a lawyer…and has never tried a case.” It is safe to say that there is not a lot of enthusiasm for this to happen, but if Jennifer does manage to pull it off, then who knows how it will play out. Time will tell.
